Health Insurance

We are currently contracted with most Blue Cross of Idaho (Traditional & PPO), Aetna, Regence Blue Shield, Pacificsource & Select Health.  Please note, as with any provider, we will bill your insurance as a courtesy but are unable to guarantee coverage/benefits. Any co-insurance is due at time of service.

Private Pay Rates

Initial Assessment/Evaluation (Individual) - $175 (60-90 minutes)

Follow-up Sessions (Individual) - $135 (50 minutes)

Initial Assessment/Evaluation (Couples) - $200 (90 minutes)

Follow-up Sessions (Couples)  - $175  (60  minutes)

Preparation for Legal Proceedings - $250/hr

Attendance at Legal Proceedings - $275/hr

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Many employers provide Employee Assistance Programs to their employees which include counseling benefits. An Employee Assistance Program, or EAP, provides confidential, short-term counseling services for benefit eligible employees and their dependents to help them handle concerns constructively before they become major issues. Ask your employer about the specifics of their EAP program, and if I am listed as a contracted counselor.

 

Health Savings Account (HSA)

If you see a therapist or receive mental health counseling, you may be able to pay the bill with your HSA funds. To qualify, the IRS requires your therapy or counseling to be directly related to a diagnosed medical condition – rather than for the general improvement of mental health or stress. That means that, generally, talk therapy or behavioral counseling with a letter of medical necessity may be a qualified medical expense while something like marriage counseling or life coaching may not.

If an expense is qualified, you can pay for your sessions with your HSA. Whether you pay directly with an HSA debit card or receive reimbursement from your account, your payments will come straight from your tax-free funds.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you contact me at least 24 hours in advance. Otherwise, you may be charged the full rate of the session.
